To some things up, there is so much bureaucracy and craziness with campaign finance it hides in it a an ease of corruption. Not just a chaos of words, with cracks in the structure that punish small campaigns without anything proven, yet big campaigns, they are open to take bribes.
All through a Official Agent, now the Official Agent is this expendable political actor in good and bad faith who can take a number of financial items, and make as many deals for it, and if the Candidate approves such things in a 1 to 1 meeting, there is no corroboration if the OA says anything after being caught him/herself. They basically hired below the Bus.
It’s a law that openly flaunts plausible deniability.
Now some of us ran municipal campaigns where we could have ran our personal finances, but that’s the other problem, the Candidate is basically not allowed to officially handle those things, do we want people who don’t show they can handle a campaign financial matter?
I’ll say this, I owe nothing from my Mayoral Campaigns. That was all clean, and totally my responsibility, paid out on as needed.
