Yeah it’s worked out pretty well up to this point.
I use to mock the laws that already exist with #GUNCONTROLSUCCESSSTORY on Social Media, it got too depressing to really keep doing, I mean Gun Control failed so bad lately. Trudeau had an ad released that claimed an 81% increase of violent offences using guns since 2009. To be clear if you had 1 gun used in a murder and then 2. It’s up 100%.
Either way, we have more Gun Crime, when they had more and more gun restrictions, licencing, and bans.
In Vancouver-East, you might say, well it’s “the tent city,” but all of the shootings around that weren’t most of the tent city, what you did have, however, were a population where no one could legally defend themselves or another with a gun. All of the shootings weren’t even from there.
You didn’t have less unlicensed, stolen, or “illegal” tools of defense out there, you had more aggressive people out there willing to misuse them, and less people who could counter it. Stop paroling and conditionally releasing violent people may actually help a little.
Oh that includes all the pedophiles that corrections released under every incumbent party and politician (Bernier) as well. Without a single change to the corrections system.
You can’t stop the Gun from being invented, you may not deprive people of their ability to defend themselves against scum.
